Rapid chess is part of the regular programme of these clubs, either at their own tournaments or in their training. Hetman GKS Katowice played a children’s rapid tournament during its fiftieth anniversary festival in September 2025, and MCKiS Jaworzno hosts the city Grand Prix, which alternates ten-minute rapid with blitz on Friday evenings in its chess room on ul. RKS Mat celebrated its twentieth anniversary with a rapid tournament at a primary school in Ruda Śląska in December 2025. TMS Roszada in Gliwice stands behind the national Children’s Day tournament, played at rapid pace in groups by age, and the youth culture centre in Chorzów, which teaches chess through the school year, holds a national director’s cup for the youngest players each spring. Each of those tournaments also has an entry of its own in the tournament list.
